After a brief career in small animal veterinary medicine, Dr. Perry decided to return to medical school to pursue his dream of caring for people. While at the University of Missouri’s medical school, Dr. Perry developed an interest in dermatology. He completed a medical internship at the University of Virginia Teaching Hospital and went on to finish a dermatology residency at the University of Missouri.
In 2000, after serving two years as an assistant professor of dermatology at the University of Missouri, Dr. Perry established his private practice, now known as Central Missouri Dermatology. He is a Board-Certified Dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Society for MOHS Surgery. Dr. Perry and his wife, Jane Ann, reside in Columbia and are the proud parents of five children: Austin, Andrew, Alan, Kyle, and Laura.
